Empiece a trabajar fácilmente con Percona 5.6 en Debian.
En este ejemplo se está ejecutando Linux Mint 15 .

Percona 5.6:

Pasar de MySQL 5.6 a 5.6 Percona

Original post: http://anothermysqldba.blogspot.com/2013/10/moving-from-mysql-56-to-percona-56.html

Percona 5.6 fue lanzado recientemente (el día de hoy en el momento de este post). Así como simple ejemplo lo que todo se tarda en pasar a este "gota en el reemplazo?"

Oct 7 06:47 Percona-Server-56-debuginfo-5.6.13-rel61.0.461.rhel6.x86_64.rpm
Oct 7 06:47 Percona-Server-client-56-5.6.13-rel61.0.461.rhel6.x86_64.rpm
Oct 7 06:47 Percona-Server-devel-56-5.6.13-rel61.0.461.rhel6.x86_64.rpm
Oct 7 06:47 Percona-Server-server-56-5.6.13-rel61.0.461.rhel6.x86_64.rpm
Oct 7 06:47 Percona-Server-shared-56-5.6.13-rel61.0.461.rhel6.x86_64.rpm

Oct 7 06:47 Percona-Server-test-56-5.6.13-rel61.0.461.rhel6.x86_64.rpm
# rpm -qa | grep MySQL
MySQL-server-5.6.13-1.el6.x86_64
MySQL-devel-5.6.13-1.el6.x86_64
MySQL-shared-compat-5.6.13-1.el6.x86_64
perl-DBD-MySQL-4.013-3.el6.x86_64
MySQL-python-1.2.3-0.3.c1.1.el6.x86_64
MySQL-client-5.6.13-1.el6.x86_64
MySQL-shared-5.6.13-1.el6.x86_64
MySQL-test-5.6.13-1.el6.x86_64

# rpm -Uhv *.rpm

Aunque sería agradable ser capaz de pasar de MySQL a Percona con un comando sencillo obtendrá conflictos si has probado.

Percona-Server-server-56-5.6.13-rel61.0.461.rhel6.x86_64 conflicts with file from package MySQL-server-5.6.13-1.el6.x86_64

Así que en lugar que tienes que hacer lo siguiente.

Usted ya debe tener copias de seguridad, pero sólo en caso de crear otro.

Un ejemplo muy sencillo a continuación con Xtrabackup
innobackupex ./

  • Apague MySQL
  • Retire los envases
  • Instale Percona
  • Inicio y conectarse.

# /etc/init.d/mysql stop
Shutting down MySQL.. [ OK ]

# rpm -e MySQL-server MySQL-devel MySQL-client MySQL-shared MySQL-test mysql-workbench-community

# rpm -ihv Percona-Server-*.rpm

mysql -e "CREATE FUNCTION murmur_hash RETURNS INTEGER SONAME 'libmurmur_udf.so'"
